Meet Laura Trevisan, RCC, an experienced counsellor based in Hong Kong and Vancouver. Laura offers comprehensive support with a wealth of experience in multi-migration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Laura was originally from Italy and was living in Hong Kong for two decades, refining her skills.
She studied at Birkbeck College, University of London, and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Genoa, Department of Economics, Italy. In Kyiv, Ukraine, she contributed to the Chamber of Commerce and volunteered to support children and parents affected by Chernobyl.
After a dedicated pause to raise her young adult children, Laura is currently pursuing further education with an ongoing Diploma in Professional Counselling in Vancouver. With a background in finance and economics, she understands the impact of executive and work-related stress, particularly in dynamic environments like Hong Kong or Vancouver. Laura is skilled in assisting those facing various forms of addiction, offering comprehensive assessment and intervention.
